On August 20, actress Bea Alonzo said that her transfer to GMA Network felt like everything’s falling into place.
During the 12th Anniversary special of BEAUTéDERM Corporation, Alonzo recalled her contract signing with GMA Network and how she felt about the new chapter in her career.
“I have to say it felt surreal when I was signing the contract already. Kasi, imagine I was working for ABS-CBN for 20 years. And all of a sudden, I was signing a contract with GMA. It was a ‘big’ shift.
“It was a new chapter that will change my life possibly.
“Parang mayroong gaan sa dibdib, you know when you are doing something you like to do. And, parang magaan sa loob, parang everything is falling into place. And I felt that.”
She then revealed details about her upcoming projects with GMA Network, such as her movie with Alden and a teleserye.
“I’m actually doing a movie with Alden Richards. To be produced by GMA, APT, and also Viva. Medyo nade-delay lang because of the lockdowns. But I think, were going to start writing by next month. Then, I’m bound to do a teleserye with GMA, pero hindi ko pa pwedeng sabihin kung anong teleserye ito.”
She also shared her upcoming appearances in Kapuso shows, noting that she wants to explore her new home.
“For now iikot muna ako sa mga shows nila. So, they will be seeing me on their Sunday show All-Out Sundays, sa Unang Hirit.
“I know I will be in Bubble Gang, Eat Bulaga and a lot of other shows.
“Gusto rin kasing malibot ‘yung bago kong tahanan and makilala ‘yung mga bagong kong kapatid, ‘yung mga bagong kong kapuso.”
On July 1, Alonzo made a huge career move and inked her contract with GMA Network. Earlier, she described her transfer with the Kapuso network as a ‘rebirth’ in her career.
Before she transferred, she was one of the biggest stars in the Kapamilya Network. She began her career with ABS-CBN in 2002. She then took on some of her unforgettable roles in One More Chance, The Mistress, Four Sisters and a Wedding, and A Second Chance.
