Actress Kris Bernal agrees to have a lower talent fee just to work and continue her passion for acting during this pandemic.
In a YouTube vlog titled, “Breaking my silence on the rumors about my showbiz career”, Bernal cleared out all allegations thrown against her regarding the non-renewal of her contract under GMA Network.
She debunked the rumors that her attitude became the reason for GMA Network to set aside the renewal of her contract.
It’s been all over social media nga na parang the reason why I was not renewed daw because attitude daw ako, nagpapataas daw ako, may contract pa daw ako pero gusto ko daw lumipat.
In all honesty, wala akong maalala na nag-attitude ako.”
Bernal then pointed out that she is pouring 100% of her time and effort into every project given to her.
“Actually, when my contract expired, sabi ko, ‘Sige, kahit babaan niyo na, kahit magkano lang po.’ I’m after, you know, doing shows, because, you know, acting is my passion.”
Bernal also shared her worries that she might lose her passion for acting once she will be married soon.
Charot!
Bernal was engaged to the businessman Perry Choi in February 2020.
The original schedule of their wedding is on May 15, 2021, but due to the unavailability of venues, it was moved to June 5, but then again, it was canceled.
In a recent vlog of Bernal, she revealed their new wedding date, and accordingly, it will be on September 25 at Magallanes Church.
