Actress Kylie Padilla says that she feels happy and at peace after separating with husband Aljur Abrenica.
In an interview with GMA Network’s 24 Oras, Padilla talked about her state after break up with Abrenica.
Padilla said that she already adjusted to her new environment and new home.
“Nakapag-adjust na kami sa kailangan gawin–sa kailangan mangyari.”
Despite the heartbreak caused by her separation from Abrenica, Padilla said that she is fine and happy.
“I mean ‘di ba, puwede naman sabihin na I’m happy just for the sake of it, but I’m really-really happy now, masaya talaga ako.”
Her recent project, the online series ‘BetCin’, actually helped her achieve peace and served as her therapy.
“Especially after this project which I said served as a therapy for me, in a way, to get through what I was going through but now, I feel happier. I’m at peace now.”
When asked about her plans of returning to TV, Kylie said that she is ready. However, she has hesitations due to lock-in taping since she does not want to be away from her children.
“Isa-psych ko yung sarili ko para malayo sa mga anak ko. Ang hirap talaga, may anxiety akong malayo sakanila.”
Kylie and Aljur tied a knot in 2018. They have two sons, Alas and Axl, and they currently have a co-parenting relationship.
Early this year, rumors circulated that their marriage is on the rocks. A month ago, Robin Padilla, Kylie’s father, confirmed that Kylie and Aljur already broke up.
