COO and President of Vivamax Vincent Del Rosario have given James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s fans hope with his recent revelation on August 19, expressing his interest in having JaDine, either individually or as a love team, make new films for his streaming platform.
In the virtual press conference for Vivamax’s Vivamaxxed, Del Rosario admitted that although JaDine’s past projects were currently available on the streaming site, they are looking for materials to offer Nadine.
“In terms of yung kanilang content, and’yan naman sa platform, yung mga pelikula ni James, ni Nadine. Wala lang bago.
“I think in a few weeks, we’re presenting to Nadine some projects that she may want to consider doing for us. Movie projects, for Vivamax, for the cinema.”
They are also ‘hoping’ to have James Reid bring his artistry and musicality to Vivamax.
“Hopefully, maybe soon, also with James, whether through his music o sa pag-aartista,” he hoped.
In the case of Nadine, Del Rosario recalled that his father and Viva’s founder, Boss Vic Del Rosario, asked for his help to get Nadine the perfect project that Vivamax could offer.
“So we’re sitting down soon. Boss Vic has asked us to come up with ideas, concepts that we can present to her. So we’re very excited for the opportunity to work with her again,” recalled Vincent.
Though there has been an issue involving Nadine’s contract with Viva, Vincent said they still want to work with her since she is like ‘family’ to them.
“Sa aming end I think maraming beses naman na nasabi ni Boss Vic, especially sa case ni Nadine since we have an active contract with her, we want to work with her.
“We want her to do projects for us. We’re just finding the right materials kasi siyempre, hinahanap din naming yung bagay sa kanya at yung matutuwa siyang gawin.
“I’m sure within the year, we’ll announce na a project with her,” stated Del Rosario.
When asked why they did not close their door to Nadine, Del Rosario wants to work with the actress to bring ‘new flavor’ in the artist mix.
“Si Nadine naman s’yempre is like family to us. We’ve seen her through. In terms of being an artist, as a person, una s’yang nakasama sa Viva so yung opportunity na makatrabaho s’ya ulit in a new light, sa bagong—ngayong panahon—ay exciting.
“Not only in Viva, di lang sa amin, kundi pati mga empleyado ng aming production team ay excited,” he responded.
Del Rosario is certain that within 2021, they could find the best project for Nadine and hopes to have James on board as well.
“I’m sure within the year, we’ll announce na a project with her and hopefully, even kay James, whether them as a couple or individually.”
James left Viva in 2018 while Nadine left the agency in 2020, sparking a controversy after Viva Artists Agency sued her for ‘breach of contract.‘
