Former Wowowee dancer RR Enriquez relates to Gerald Anderson for not wanting to marry Julia Barretto yet.
However, she defended Anderson from bashers as she noted that the actor is just wise.
Anderson shared that he does not want to marry Barretto yet as he said that the actress still has a lot to prove in the showbiz industry.
“She’s still very young and ang dami pa niyang mao-offer sa industriya natin and ang dami pa niyang maipapakita sa inyo, ‘yung talent niya so ayaw ko pong maging hadlang doon.
“If I had my way, of course, kaso hindi pa kami quota,” said Anderson on August 20.
Some netizens then bashed the actor as they claimed that he is not fully committed to his girlfriend.
In RR Enriquez’s Instagram post on Thursday, August 26, she defended Anderson from the bashers. She said she agrees with the actor that Barretto is still young and still has a lot to prove.

“Wala namang masama sa sinabi ni Gerald. Wala din naman sya sinabi na ayaw nya pakasalan si Julia. He’s just being wise sa decision nya!
“Julia is still young. Madami pa talaga sya iooffer sa industriya. Sayang din yung opportunity,” she said.
Enriquez also mentioned that Anderson and Barretto are still in the early stages of their relationship and should just enjoy their time together in the meantime.
“Ito din yung time na dapat ini enjoy lang muna nila yung relationship nila as boyfriend and girlfriend.
“Kaya hayaan natin yung tao, if he doesn’t want go get married for now huwag natin sya pakialamanan,” said Enriquez.
Gerald Anderson previously trended after he announced that he was hoping his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo would forgive him.
“I really pray, I really hope she will find it in her heart to forgive what happened, forgive me. Naghu-hope lang ako,” Anderson apologized during the online show Init Conversations.
His apology then became controversial as Janus del Prado threw a subtle shade towards Anderson saying that the actor is apologizing is because of his new show.
