Pokwang pairs up with seasoned actor Tonton Gutierrez in ‘It’s Not You, It’s Me’ episodes of GMA Network’s magical anthology series. The latest story for Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko follows the body-switching adventures of Sunshine (Pokwang) and Homer (Gutierrez), a married couple who are at odds with each other and on the brink of separation.
Pokwang noted earlier that she’s excited to work with Gutierrez in the anthology series.
“Matagal na rin kaming hindi nagkatrabaho ni Tonton. Para kaming may mini reunion nina Tonton at Paul sa episode na ito kaya noong last taping day namin, naramdaman ko ‘yung separation anxiety. Sobrang sarap katrabaho ni Tonton at nagulat ako na binatang-binata na rin si Paul.”
The mini-series also includes Paul Salas, Shanelle Agustin, Frances Makil, and Maey Bautista. Their first episode aired on October 3.
As for her career ng GMA Network, Pokwang currently has projects lined up for her. Aside from her Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko episode, Pokwang also had her Dear Uge and Magpakailanman episodes recently.
