Miss Universe-Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez admitted that she is willing to enter the entertainment industry and be a part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
In an exclusive interview of the beauty queen with Magandang Buhay that premiered on YouTube on October 28, she said that she is okay with doing action scenes.
She even noted that she wanted to become an action star.
“Yes, why not? Willing po ako kahit walang stuntman, gagawin ko.
“Gusto ko pong maging action star,” said Gomez.
Gomez is known to be athletic as she trains in different sports like boxing, kickboxing, and aikido.
Aside from keeping a fit body, she said that her sports will help her defend herself.
“Women are vulnerable to harassment, so for me to empower myself, ‘yun ginawa ko po ‘yung martial arts other than exercise. That’s one reason why I did it din,” she said.
Gomez is set to represent the Philippines for the upcoming Miss Universe 2021 in November.
When asked what she feels about representing a whole country, Gomez said that she is confident, but needs to work on her socializing skills.
“I know I am confident po sa question and answer and communication skills ko and my pasarela but as an introverted person po who forced myself into facing that crowd, I want to work more on interacting with other people kasi doon po ako medyo dapat mag-improve,” she said.
Gomez raised the flag of the LGBTQIA+ community by becoming the first out lesbian beauty queen crowned as Miss Universe-Philippines.
