On December 14, phenomenal box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina revealed what it was like working with Kapamilya artist Jeremiah Lisbo.
During the media conference for Love At First Stream, Garcia-Molina joked that Lisbo is a “bully” on set, especially with co-star Kaori Oinuma.
“If I we’re to describe Miah [Jeremiah Lisbo] kasi in one word, the word is bully. Bully. Ishe-share kong konti, kapag nag set up tapos nagsusulat lang kami lang kami doon, mayroon lang table, may bababang Kaori sa gilid namin, lumalabas, ‘o san punta?’ ‘si Miah po kasi napikon po ako.’ Tapos sabihin ko, ‘Hoy Miah, anong ginawa mo don?’ ‘Wala direk nagbibiruan lang kami.’ Ganyan na ganyan.”
Lisbo responded by highlighting how the phenomenal box-office director motivates her actors on set.
“Sobrang memorable sa akin ‘yung mga eksenang mino-motivate ni Direk ‘yung mga actor. Nakaka-amaze. Ako kasi kapag hindi ko take talagang sinusulit ko si Direk Cathy [Garcia-Molina] kasi ibang klase mag-direk si direk Cathy. Talagang hindi siya susuko eh kapag hindi niya na-achieve ‘yung emosyon na gusto niyang makita. Sobrang amazing lang.”
He also shared his first impression of the director.
“Akala ko ano eh, karamihan naman ng impression kay direk Cathy nakakatakot, terror, pero pag tumagal naman ng tumagal ma-e-enjoy mo naman ‘yung trabaho.”
He said he doesn’t feel pressure about their movie’s bid for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2021.
“Wala pong pressure kasi kasama ko ‘yung Kapamilya ko sa Rise, si Kaori, si Daniela, si Anthony at sasamahan pa ni Direk Cathy, grabe ‘yung tiwala namin sa isa’t isa. ‘Yun na ‘yun eh. Kapag kasama mo pamilya mo may strength ka.”

The movie also includes a stellar supporting cast with Quincy Villanueva, Vien King, Ashley Polinar , Pinky Amador, Agot Isidro, Hyubs Azarcon, and Igiboy Flores.
Love At First Stream premieres on December 25 during the Metro Manila Film Festival 2021.
