Winner of The Clash season 4 Mariane Osabel admitted on Wednesday, December 22, that some of her winnings would be used to help survivors of Typhoon Odette.
Pero ngayon, napag-isipan ko kasi dumaan ang bagyong Odette so magdo-donate po ako for sure,” she said during her virtual media conference.
Osabel also revealed that she plans to conduct a virtual concert for a cause with fellow clashers, and all the proceeds will be donated to the affected communities.
Apart from donating some of her 1 million peso cash prize to the Odette victims, Osabel would also help her older brother and her family.
The rest of her winnings would be kept as she plans to invest in a business in the future.
“Then yung the rest naman po, ise-save ko po muna siya kasi pag-iisipan ko pa po kung ano ang gagawin ko doon. Siguro mag-iinvest po ako for business, negosyo in the future. And emergency money lang din po kung merong emergency, in case lang po.”
For herself, however, Osabel admitted that she’d buy a brand new phone given that her current one is already broken.
Osabel also took the opportunity to thank all of her supporters who encouraged her throughout the competition.
Osabel now joins Golden Cañedo, Jeremiah Tiangco, and Jessica Villarubin as The Clash champions.
