LOOK: KathNiel reaches 1 Million likes on Instagram, trends on social media

On January 18, showbiz couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) trended on social media after their Instagram post reached one million likes.

The said Instagram post showed the couple dining in a Japanese restaurant sharing a sushi meal.

The couple also took wacky shots of each other before digging in their sushi dish.

Social media went wild with the adorable post from the celebrity couple, so much so that it already reached a million likes within 48 hours.

As a result, fans of KathNiel took to twitter to celebrate another social media milestone for their idols.

As of this writing, the post currently has 1.134 Million Likes on Instagram.

Bernardo and Padilla (KathNiel) are among the country’s most bankable love teams, with several projects (teleserye, movies) together since 2011. The love team who turned real-life couple recently celebrated their 10 years of working together in September 2021.

Now they are set to star in their upcoming comeback series, 2G2BT ( 2 Good 2 Be True), directed by Mae Cruz Alviar. 

Aside from the powerhouse couple, the teleserye also includes a stellar cast with Ronaldo Valdez, Gloria Diaz, Irma Adlawan, Gelli de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta, Cris Villanueva, Smokey Manaloto, Matt Evans, Jenny Miller, Yves Flores, Pamu Pamorada, Gillian Vicencio, Kristel Fulgar, Bianca de Vera, and Alyssa Muhlach.

The cast reportedly started taping 2G2BT in October 2021 and hopes the series would air in 2022.
