TV host and singer Billy Crawford showed his support for presidential aspirant and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno in an Instagram post on Monday, March 28.
Through a one-minute video, the Lunch Out Loud (LOL) host explained why he chose to support Moreno’s presidential bid in the upcoming elections.
He said, “Alam niyo po, ilang buwan na lang eleksyon na. And I realized how crucial this election is dahil unti-unti na tayong bumabangon sa pandemic. At hindi magiging madali ang trabaho ng mga officials na iboboto natin. They’ll decide how we will rise above this challenge.”
Crawford said we need an official who can make actual change and not just promises.
He wrote, “Marami ang nangangarap, marami ang nangangako. Kaya, I wanted to make my own stand in this coming election. Gusto ko ng pagbabago hindi lang sa salita, pati na rin sa gawa. Kailangan natin ng simpleng gobyerno para sa ikauunlad ng bawat Pilipino. Kailangan natin ng lider na kayang humarap sa anumang pagsubok.”

Crawford believes Moreno can satisfy the needs of the Filipinos specially the poor.
“Lider na kayang punan ang pangangailangan ng mga mahihirap. Lider na sa tingin ko nagpapahalaga sa edukasyon at lider na kailangang ipaglaban ang ating bayan. Kaya ako sa darating na Mayo masasabi ko, Isko ako.”
Crawford and Moreno worked together in the defunct youth-oriented Kapuso show, That’s Entertainment hosted by German Moreno.
