Kapamilya comedian-writer-director John Lapus recounted his encounters with Antique Representative Loren Legarda during her days as a Kapamilya reporter.
On his Twitter account, Lapus alluded to his encounter with Legarda while working in the production team of ABS-CBN.

Lapus also called out Legarda’s decision to abstain from voting during the Congress hearing of ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal.

He then responded to a netizen who highlighted how Legarda benefited from the exposure she received from the Kapamilya Network. Lapus revealed that he got into a fight with a fellow researcher at the time because of an offensive comment.

Earlier, showbiz news reporter Ogie Diaz noted that he lost respect for Legarda after a revelation through Twitter, confirming that the Antique Congresswoman instructed local officials not to attend Vice President Leni Robredo’s rally in the province.
As for the 2022 elections, Legarda, who’s big on environmental protection and climate change adaption, received support from incumbent President Rodrigo Duterte.
