On March 18, Kapamilya artist KD Estrada admitted feeling overwhelmed with his success after Pinoy Big Brother.
During the media conference for Bola Bola, Estrada said he’s slowly processing all of the opportunities he received after exiting PBB.
“Actually, yes, it was overwhelming at first. Kasi, when I got out of the house, ang daming information na nilayag sa akin. But, right now, I’m slowly processing all of this and feeling great.”
He also shared details about his previous acting roles before landing the lead in Bola Bola.
“I played a supporting role sa Unloving You, ni Easy Ferrer, starring Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte. Actually, medyo similar ‘yung role ko dun kasi band leader ako doon. Loisa was the lead singer, and I was the band guitarist. It’s a very similar role, but this one has more depth.”
When asked if he felt pressure taking on a lead role, Estrada stated that he didn’t feel any because he was exploring as an artist.
“Di naman actually. I told myself na handa ako para sa mga roles, at gusto ko talaga i-explore ‘yung acting.
“I just wanted to see how different acting was from singing and tapings. And ayun, I experienced that, and I’m happy about that.”
KD recently had a successful FanCon even alongside his love team, Alexa Ilacad.
Now he stars in the iWantTFC original series based on Anna Geronga’s best-selling love romance, Bola Bola, alongside Francine Diaz, Akira Morishita, and Ashton Salvador.
Joining them are Analain Salvador, Danica Ontengco, Vance Larena, J-Mee Katanyag, and Arlene Muhlach.
