Following the latest presidential debate, Marcos Jr trolls are all-around social media claiming that VP Leni was given advance questions during the CNN Presidential debate on Sunday, February 27; thus, her responses looked scripted.

However, several netizens took to social media to defend VP Robredo against the propaganda and misinformation.

@dumidyeypee, who shared a Marcos apologist’s claim that VP’s responses were scripted, said that it’s better to shut up since his candidate failed to show up in the event.

“Kapag wala ung kandidato, shut up na lang kasi.”

Kapamilya writer Jerry Gracio also shared the same sentiment slamming the Marcos apologist for talking too much and criticizing VP Leni’s answers when his candidate Marcos was not even there to answer the debate questions.

“Muntanga ‘tong dami-daming kuda sa debate, wala naman kandidato niya na sabi nga ni Walden: Cowards. Idiots.”

@iamlabs_ meanwhile advised the troll not to compare VP Leni to them who always asked for leaked questions during exams.

Meanwhile, other netizens praised VP’s performance during the debate saying Robredo is that brilliant and intelligent that trolls are mistaken to be scripted.

Meanwhile, to debunk trolls’ claims that CNN provided VP Leni advanced questions, netizen @laratyan shared VP Leni and Dr. Willie Ong’s photos of their notes taken down during the debate.

“At least two candidates prove CNNPH did not release questions in advance, showing pages of notes they took during the live event. Robredo and Ong share they wrote talk points without assurance they will be asked to answer the questions.”

@citizenjaneph, on the other hand, shared Tricia Robredo’s tweet regarding how VP Leni taught and required them always to take down notes and color-coded outlines.

She said she could relate with Tricia when she was still a student with different markers used for taking notes.

And contrary to Marcos’s troll’s claim on VP Leni, it was proven that Marcos Jr was the one who’s asking for advanced topics and formats for upcoming debates.

@apoferrer shared a copy of Marcos camp’s letter to the COMELEC asking for a discussion on debate format and issues to be tackled during the debate.
