Presidential aspirant Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso received an earful from actor Romnick Sarmenta after trying to put Vice President Leni Robredo in a bad light.
A photo of Moreno with presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr resurfaced online.
The picture, taken in February 2021, became an issue as the public speculated that he had now teamed up with the late dictator’s son.
He denied the rumor and blamed the supporters of Robredo for putting malice in the photo.
“Galing na naman sa dilaw. Straightforward, dilaw talaga,” he said. “Marumi talaga maglaro ang dilaw.”
Sarmenta defended the Vice President and advised Moreno to “man-up.”
“Blame yourself for your actions and decisions. Stop accusing others without proof. You’re starting to sound like a sore loser,” he tweeted.

Sarmenta also criticized Moreno’s call for Robredo to withdraw from the presidential race.
The actor even pointed out that the Manila City mayor was nothing alike the revolutionary leader Andres Bonifacio.
Thank you for stating that it is a false claim.
The gentleman from Manila shares nothing with with Andres Bonifacio, who champions the truth.— Romnick Sarmenta (@Relampago1972) April 19, 2022
The actor also shared cryptic tweets about a candidate he once supported, which netizens believed to be Moreno.
“Kaibigan ang turing ko sa iyo. Ikinampanya kita noon, sa mas mababang posisyon dahil naniniwala ako sa mga pinaninindigan mo dati. Pwede kang magalit o magtampo sa akin. Pero ang mga sinabi ko kelan lang ay dala ng malasakit at di galit. Sana’y mag-isip ka. Di pa huli.”

One of the commandments says:
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
Ingat po sa pagkakalat ng kasinungalingan.

Securing a future for your family is noble.
But securing at the expense of others, defaming and demeaning others, is the work of a fool.— Romnick Sarmenta (@Relampago1972) April 19, 2022
He also reminded voters to “stop idolizing their candidates” as their votes are for the country.
I find it funny when witless people take action and it backfires, and all they can do is blame others.
I find the people who defend them sad.
There is nothing funny about fanatics.Think.
Make use of your intellect.
Stop idolising your candidates.— Romnick Sarmenta (@Relampago1972) April 19, 2022
No more colours. No more hashtags. No more bqttle cries.
Just act. Share and inform others. Stop excluding people, and start giving voice to reason.
They may not all agree, but we cannot dismiss our role in this.Vote for others. Vote for the country.
