Kyle Echarri opens up on the issue among the Gold Squad group after Andrea Brillantes reveals her boyfriend, Ricci Rivero.
The Gold Squad is a group of young stars that comprises Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri. Their group name came from their hit Kapamilya series Ang Kadenang Ginto.
Andrea and Seth are loveteams, while Francine and Kyle are paired up.
Recently, rumors spread that the Gold Squad would be disbanded as Andrea introduced her boyfriend, Ricci Rivero, to the public.
Prior to Andrea’s relationship with Ricci, there are also talks that she and Francine are not on good terms as Seth and Francine are rumored to be together.
In an interview with Kyle that premiered on YouTube on April 21, the young actor opened up on the issues of the Gold Squad.
When asked about their relationship with each other, Kyle said that they are still close to one another.
“Okay naman kaming apat. Kahit magkagulo man sa internet, kung ano man ang sinasabi ng mga tao, ang mahalaga sa aming apat ay okay naman kami,” said Kyle.
When asked about how he deals with the Gold Squad issues, he explained that what others say does not matter as long as their group is on good terms with each other.
“Syempre mahirap kahit papano, maririnig at maririnig mo talaga. I try my best not to be part of it kahit sinasali ako sa mga ganun. Pero like I said, ang importante ay okay kaming apat,” he said.
“I’m really focusing on myself right now. [I’m ready for] whatever the projects my family in Dreamscape is willing to give me.
“I’m just happy na I’m doing what I’ve been trying to do for a while now, which is to focus on my own career.”
Meanwhile, he mentioned that he is now focusing on his solo career, even though it is hard after being comfortable in a love team.
“Syempre nakakatakot pero kasi nasanay ako na nasa isang loveteam.
“I don’t pressure myself into certain projects, or to fame. There’s a lot of people who compare themselves to what a certain person is doing.
“I’m really just trying to just focus on my own path,” he said.
Kyle Echarri previously gave Francine a birthday message on her 18th birthday on January 27.
