Amid rumors of Vice Ganda transferring to the Kapuso Network, Ogie Diaz said that the former and Direk Edgar ‘Bobot’ Mortiz went to have a meeting only to talk about a show abroad.
On May 21, on the recent episode of Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, Diaz, Mama Loi, and Dyosa Pockoh discussed the rumors of Vice leaving his home network.
Mama Loi said that someone saw Vice having a meeting with the former ABS-CBN director Mortiz, who is now associated with the Kapuso Network.
Mortiz is the director of the GMA Network sitcom titled Happy ToGetHer, where John Lloyd Cruz is the lead star.
Despite Diaz not knowing any details about what Vice and Mortiz had discussed, he said that the two went to have a meeting to talk about a show abroad.
Allegations are saying that Vice would field into the vacated timeslot of Willie Revillame’s Wowowin.
Diaz and his fellow hosts have questioned Vice’s absence during the birthday celebration of Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast of ABS-CBN Corporation Cory Vidanes.
They also interrogated if Vice still has a network contract with ABS-CBN Network despite him hosting the noontime show It’s Showtime.
