In a series of Facebook posts on Wednesday, June 1, Darryl Yap derided veteran broadcaster Karen Davila following her viral video interview with Senator Imee Marcos.
Davila made headlines after receiving sarcastic remarks from Marcos during her interview in the program Headstart, Wednesday, June 1.
Yap quipped about how Davila was supposedly offended by their remarks about Marcos.
Yap wrote, “Senator Imee R. Marcos: Good Morning Karen!
“It’s nice to see you’re still here in the Philippines, akala ko magmamigrate ka pag nanalo ang Marcos…
“HAHAHAHA! That’s my Manang!!!
DRACARYS!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”
He added, “migrate.jpeg”
Yap said: “Hindi naman napikon si Karen, wala lang yung part na yun sa edit ng program. check youtube :)”
Yap wrote, “In Defeat, resist the temptation to Migrate, coz that will be “bitterness in business class” act.”

On Thursday, June 2, Yap playfully used the lines from Marcos during the interview in his post.
He said, “Good Evening! It’s nice to see you’re still in the Philippines!”
Yap previously showed his support to President-elect Bongbong Marcos in the May 2022 presidential election.
Yap gained controversy for creating Kape Chronicles and The Exorcism of Len-Len Rose, which featured Senator Imee Marcos.
The series got perceived as a negative campaign against VP Leni Robredo.
