Singer-thespian Gerald Santos has a new song in digital platforms called “Ibulong Mo Na Sa ‘Kin,” distributed by Polyeast Records.
The song, released on May 13, is composed by journalist-musician Yugel Losorata, who currently works as senior copy editor of CNN Philippines. Losorata is also the bass player and chief songwriter of the band The Pub Forties.
Santos said, “‘Ibulong Mo Na Sa ‘Kin’ is very now! It’s relatable and this generation will definitely love this song. This song is actually away from my usual ‘heavy-themed’ music which is a breath of fresh air for me!”
The track had been arranged by Jason Cabato.
Santos just had a successful concert in Vienna, Austria last May 14. A European Tour is being planned for him to be set next year.
But before that he is set to do a concert at the Music Museum in October, entitled “Gerald Santos: Fresh Start.”
The grand champion of Pinoy Pop Superstar Season 2 (when he was 15) has an upcoming movie with Borracho Films (of Atty. Ferdinand Topacio), titled “Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told” where he plays the role of Christopher Lalan, the lone survivor of the headline-grabbing tragedy.
Santos played Thuy in the Cameron Mackintosh production of Miss Saigon UK International Tour 2017-2019, logging in 553 performances that partly led to him being named Aliw Awards’ Entertainer of fhe Year in 2020.
