Markus Paterson finally breaks his silence regarding break-up rumors with his girlfriend Janella Salvador.
Recently, the couple got rumored to have already split up as netizens noticed that they no longer post pictures of each other on Instagram.
In a report by Cinema News in June 2022, Markus addressed the break-up rumors saying that his relationship with Salvador remains to be good.
“Our relationship status is definitely something that people are asking about. But as of now, I’m gonna let her do the talking in that situation.
“We’re both very good. We have a very good relationship with each other. So let’s just leave it like that for now,” the actor said.
He then thanked Salvador for being a good mother to their son.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the woman you have become, the mother you have become, and the mother you continue to be, and to grow into. It’s such a beautiful thing to watch. I’m so blessed to be a part of your life,” he told Salvador.
On the other hand, Salvador also addressed the break-up rumors saying that people should respect their privacy.
“I am aware of the speculations that are going around. Pero siguro I’m asking people to give us more time, i-respect kung anuman ‘yung nangyayari,” said Salvador in an interview with ABS-CBN’s entertainment website Push.
She then added, “Okay kami. We’re okay, we’re totally okay.”
Once again, Salvador asked the people to respect their privacy.
“Well, siguro hindi na maiiwasan na people will talk. Pero ayon nga, I hope people will respect our privacy as of now. And, eventually naman… Respect our privacy lang muna. But we’re okay.”
Dating rumors between Paterson and Salvador started in 2019 but they only made their relationship official in 2020. Shortly after in October 2020, Salvador gave birth to their baby Jude.
