Aside from this, Duterte also endorsed a nail and beauty lounge in May 2022.

There were talks about Duterte becoming an endorser of Brilliant Skin Essentials, owned by Glenda Victorio, in replacement of Andrea Brillantes. Dela Cruz clarified that she would not let go of Brillantes.

In a previous interview, Victorio expressed her admiration for Brillantes.

“Kayang sobrang love na love ko ‘tong batang ‘to!

“Halos parehas kami ng kinalakihan dahil mga grandparents din niya ang nagpalaki sa kaniya.

“Sa murang edad, sobrang strong nitong batang ito at doon ko siya mas lalong inadmire.

“Kapag mahal at gusto mo talaga ang ginagawa mo, kahit nakakapagod, hinding-hindi mo talaga susukuan,” Victorio said referring to Brillantes.

Victorio’s beauty products were called for a boycott after Brillantes criticized the supporters of President-elect Bongbong Marcos and Vice President-elect Sara Duterte.
