Vice Ganda initiated an impromptu spelling bee for madlang people, giving Php5,000 for the winning answer.

On July 21, on It’s Showtime, the comedian-host started an impromptu game show for the audience.

He was supposed to give away the Php32,100 pot money from the Vest in Spelling segment.

During the past episodes, the pot money is given to a stranger on the street. But the Unkabogable Star decided to give the cash to the live members of the audience instead.

“Bakit hindi natin ipamigay sa studio audience?” he said.

He raised the pot money to Php35,000, asking the audience to spell seven English words.

He asked the madlang people to spell words like fuchsia, committee, and physiology, among others.

“Yehey! Welcome back to the studio, madlang people!” Kim Chiu greeted.

On July 16, It’s Showtime and Lunch Out Loud aired back to back on TV5.

The former is currently being aired on a new time slot – from 12:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
