Kapuso fans were surprised after realizing that actress Arra San Agustin can sing, having released a single titled Hanggang Dito Na Lang.
On Wednesday, July 27, San Agustin revealed that at a young age, she used to take various lessons like ballet, karate, and singing. But among those hobbies, she fell in love with singing.
“Nag-voice lessons po ako as a kid. Pero among all of those interests na iyon, pinakaminahal ko was voice lessons, ‘yung singing. Doon po ako pinakanag-enjoy,” said the actress during the virtual media conference for her song.
Furthermore, after Starstruck, where she was an alumna, Agustin focused more on her acting skills. She did not expect to have a chance to become a recording artist after entering showbiz.
Parang walang ding masiyadong opportunity at that time noong bagu-bago. Then eto, biglang dumating. So salamat.”
Her single Hanggang Dito Na Lang also meant to her that “anything is possible as long as you put your heart into it.”
The young actress also enjoys her current success because she treats her co-workers.
Hanggang Dito Na Lang is now available for streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital music streaming platforms worldwide. It was written by Roxanne Fabian and produced by Rocky Gacho.
San Agustin is currently part of GMA Network’s fantaserye Lolong together with Ruru Madrid and Shaira Diaz.
