The longest-running Kapamilya series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is now down to its last airing week, which is expected to end on August 12.
Before entering its finale week, starting August 8, the Coco Martin-starrer was maintained as top-rated.
From August 1 to August 3, the week before its last airing week, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano secured the #3 spot on the rating chart released by AGB Nielsen.
On August 1, it earned a 12.9% rating, pushing Bolera to the #4 spot with 11.7%. It was 2.5% behind GMA Network’s Lolong and more than 5.0% behind the #1 program, 24 Oras.
On YouTube, the four-part August 1 episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned an average of 1.525 million views.
The following day, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s rating dropped to 12.3%, but it remained in the #3 spot. Lolong improved to a 15.7% rating, so their gap widened to 3.4%.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s YouTube views that day averaged 1.45 million views.
On August 3, the gap between FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano from Lolong was minimized to 2.0% as it earned 13.2% while Lolong earned 15.2%.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s YouTube average views for August 3 increased to 1.9 million.
On July 22, Kapamilya star Coco Martin announced that the show was on its last three weeks. This will mark the end of an era as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is about to end its almost 7-year run.
The much-awaited return of Darna, starring Jane De Leon, will replace FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
