On July 22, The Clash Season 4 Winner Mariane Osabel recalled the challenges she faced before releasing her single, Pirapiraso.
At the media conference for her debut single, Osabel admitted she doubted herself before releasing her music.
“Siguro po ang isang naging challenge sa akin before ko ilabas ang single ko, siguro kasi sunod-sunod ‘yung ano ko noon-events, tapos sabi ko kay sir Paulo Agudelo, is the music producer po ng GMA. And then we’re friends po, nag-chikahan po kami, ‘sabi ko, sir Pau, medyo namamalat ako.'”
She recounted how Paulo Agudelo boosted her self-confidence in her performances.
“Sabi niya, ‘Hindi Mariane, kaya mo ‘yan. Ano lang naman ‘yang kanta mo, hindi naman ‘yang sobrang birit.’ Kaya sabi ko, okay kaya ko ‘to. Siguro isa ‘yung challenge sa akin na baka hindi ko mabigyan ng justice. Pero, eventually and thank God, nabigyan ko naman siya ng justice.”
She then cited her supporters as her inspiration for Pirapiraso.
“Ang first po na naisip ko po talaga is ‘yung mga supporters ko talaga. Kasi po sir Rocky dati pa po sila nangungulit sa akin, ‘Naku, Marian we can’t wait to hear your single. Sana may mai-share ka na sa amin na kanta mo.’ Sobrang happy po nila. And di po talaga sila nag-fail na to show support, lalo na ngayon na ngayon po ‘yung release ng first song ko na Pirapiraso.”
She then stated that she would feel honored if Pirapiraso would become an original soundtrack of a Kapuso series.
“Wala pa naman pong meeting kung gagawin po siyang OST sa isang pelikula or teleserye sa GMA pero, I wish na oo, I really hope so na magamit kasi it would be a pleasure and sobrang honored po ako if ever na magamit man po ang Pirapiraso.”
Osabel won the fourth season of GMA Network’s The Clash in March 2022. She then signed a contract with the Kapuso Network after winning.
As for her shows, Osabel performs alongside Queendoms at the Kapuso Sunday noontime show All-Out Sundays.
As for her music, Osabel released her first single, Pirapiraso, under GMA Music.
