Ricky Lee, Gina Alajar, and Judy Ann Santos are still showing their support for the movie Katips.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 10, director Vincent Tañada showed appreciation and gratitude to those who supported his movie. He shared his photos with Lee, Alajar, Santos and talent manager Noel Ferrer

Tañada’s photos also include Ate Gay, Tawag ng Tanghalan champion JM Yosures and online personality Pipay. .

He also took pride in his movie, which is currently showing in its second week in the cinemas. Tañada shared the Philippine Stagers Foundation post on his social media accounts.

“Dahil sa dami ng nagre-request at sa dami ng nanonood! Ang inyong request ay dininig ng mga sinehan! Extended ang Katips sa ikalawang linggo nito! Maraming salamat sa mga patuloy sumusuporta. Mabuhay ang pelikulang Pilipino!” it captioned.

In a Facebook post on Monday, August 8, Tañada showed his astonishment after former Vice President Leni Robredo endorsed his film Katips.

Robredo said the film evokes a valuable and timely message during this time when history is being twisted and fake news is being passed around as the truth.

“Hello sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Katips. Congratulations sa inyo for this wonderful piece,” bungad ni Atty.

You are yet another proof that art is integral in the way we shape the world. Patuloy lang sa paglikha! Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!”

Katips started screening in cinemas on Wednesday, August 3.
