Kapuso afternoon drama Apoy sa Langit saw its ratings skyrocketing on its finale week.
The afternoon prime drama series of GMA Network did not disappoint as its ratings move upward making it the most successful Kapuso afternoon drama during the pandemic ranking consistently in the Top 6 of AGB Nielsen NUTAM rating chart.
On Monday, August 29, Apoy sa Langit registered a rating of 7.6%, the same as the following day, August 30, when it scored 7.6% again.
On Wednesday, August 31, it went up by 0.8% to 8.4%. Although it went down by 0.3% on Thursday, September 1, at 8.1%, the Kapuso series ended with a bang as it scored 10% on its finale episode on Friday, September 2.
Aside from a smash-hit high rating for an afternoon drama, Apoy sa Langit also scored a win in online views, recording 4.1 million views on Facebook for its finale episode.
Meanwhile, the top-rating Kapuso series ends in overflowing tension and drama as the protagonists finally get the justice they deserve.
In the finale episode, Stella, played by Lianne Valentin, finally admits her wrongdoing against Gemma, played by Maricel Laxa and Ning, played by Mikee Quintos and decides to pay for it in prison. But before entering jail, she entrusted her kid to them so he would experience a normal happy life.
Cesar played by Zoren Legazpi and Edong played by Carlos Siguion-Reyna also ended up on jail.
In the end, Stella went out of prison and reunited with his child who was under the care of Ning.
