Herlene Budol intends to retire from joining beauty pageants

In the meantime, she will be preparing to compete in Miss Planet International which could be her very last beauty pageant.

Herlene Budol announced on September 7, that she has plans to no longer compete in beauty pageants and that Miss Planet International will be her last.

“Hindi na po ako sasali talaga ng Binibining Pilipinas,” she said during her press conference as the newest brand ambassador for the cosmetics brand Rejuviant which was held at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.

Budol achieved the first runner-up in the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 in her very first pageant stint.

When asked if she was contented with only being a Bb. Pilipinas first runner-up, Budol stressed that it was already a blessing that she won.

“At least may crown ako no?

In the meantime, she will be preparing to compete in Miss Planet International which could be her very last beauty pageant.

I did my best, but I guess my best wasn’t good enough.'”
