Kapamilya artist Markus Paterson deleted an Instagram post of him paying his respects to Cherie Gil through the award-winning actress’ memorial in Bukidnon on September 6, 2022.
According to speculations, Paterson may have deleted the post out of respect for Gil’s family since the comment section of his Instagram post has been filled with comments from netizens regarding his split with Janella Salvador.
His post shows him touching the Gil’s memorial in Bukidnon with the caption, ‘You lived and you loved fully. It brings me peace knowing you are dancing in paradise right now, Love you always Tita Cherie.’
Earlier, Gil’s sibling Michael De Mesa clarified that they didn’t bury his sister in Bukidnon since the actress’s remains got cremated in New York.
Their family allocated the actress’s ashes to her sister and parents in California and her brother. He noted that the actress had always loved Bukidnon, which prompted them to create a memorial for the actress.
Aside from the deleted post, Markus also shared an IG Story showing Gil’s daughter, Bianca Rogoff, and niece, Stevie Eigenmann, confirming his closeness to the award-winning kontrabida’s family.
