Janelle Tee during the press conference for her Vivamax movie The Escort Wife on September 13 clarified her intent to become a serious actress someday.
She began thanking Viva’s big boss, Vic Del Rosario for trusting her in doing sexy projects for Vivamax.
“Sobrang grateful ako actually sa family ko sa Viva, especially kay Boss Vic na lahat po binibigay niya,” said Tee. “And from the very start naging clear naman ako na, ‘Okay, I’m gonna go the sexy route’ but I’d love to always challenge myself and to hone my acting skills.”
The sexy star added, “Kasi pinasok ko ‘to hindi dahil para magpa-sexy lang but I really want to be the best actress that I can be.”
Since beginning her sexy career, becoming more than just a sexy star was her plan from the very start, she said.
“Since day one na pumasok ako sa pagiging aktres na talagang focus ako sa pagiging aktres more than just showing sexiness. I mean, kailangan din iyon pero ‘yun nga, challenge siya sa akting at ma-hone siya.”
Tee has made several sexy films recently, including Kinsenas, Katapusan, Pusoy, and Secrets. She will also lead a four-part series An/Na.
“I’m just grateful na pinagkakatiwala sa akin ‘yung mga ganoong project. And for every project, talagang inaaral ko siya and I really work closely and collaborate with my directors and everybody else in each film that I do,” she expressed.
Escort Wife is directed by Paul Basinillo and also stars Ava Mendez and Raymond Bagatsing. The movie is now available on Vivamax.
