At his contract renewal with Mesa, which LionhearTV covered on October 26, Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes attested to the taste of the restaurant chain’s signature dish, Crispchon.
Dantes hinted at his favorite part of Mesa’s Crispchon.
“Siguro, ‘yung ulo ng Crispchon.”
He then revealed his vision of seeing Mesa’s signature dish as a part of every Filipino’s celebrations.
“Well, in my case, hindi lang sa papalitan kasi ‘yun talaga ‘yung nasa Mesa. In fact, I am one with the vision of having Crispchon, in every Filipino table kapag may okasyon, kapag may milestone na sine-celebrate, kapag may birthday na sine-celebrate, kapag may graduation, Pasko man ‘yan or New Year, eh isang napakagandang pagsalu-saluhan ng mga pamilya.”
He then talked about his experience filming the ASMR Video of Crispchon while listing his other favorite Mesa recipes.
“Siyempre ang Crispchon, again sabi nga niya, napanood ninyo na ba ‘yung ASMR video na ko doon talaga, ikinukwento ko talaga kung bakit bukod sa mayroong meaty sauce, di ba? It embodies everything about being a Filipino. Every celebration, every milestone, sa mesa ng bawat tahanan ng mga Filipino eh welcome na welcome ‘yan. And of course, second naman eh ‘yung laing.”
He also recounted how the classic Filipino restaurant became a part of his family’s lives, especially during the pandemic.
“Sabi ko nga kay Mr. Dee, both in my right and my left, na ‘yung branch 88, ireserba na sa akin. Siyempre, I believe in the brand so much. In fact, hindi lang kumbaga dahil nandito ako to represent and endorse it.
“That’s part of it, pero talagang growing up–isa akong foodie growing up. Isa akong foodie growing up and mahilig talaga ako sa classic Filipino flavors, especially now kapag may twist siya. Especially, during the pandemic, ‘yung Mesa talaga ‘yung parati naming go to food. Ayan si Raymond parati kong kausap, and talagang it’s now part of our lives. Malaking bahagi ng buhay namin ang Mesa, kaya moving forward, kailangan markahan na ‘yan forever with store number 88.”
Dantes, the host of the Kapuso Game Show Family Feud, recently renewed his endorsement deal with the Classic Filipino food restaurant Mesa.
