After two decades, award-winning TV talk show host Boy Abunda is back on GMA Network and ready to intrigue with his famous copyright-protected term “Fast Talk.”
He ended the transfer rumors late last year when he sealed a contract with GMA Network.
The host believes that there would be no conflict between him and ABS-CBN on using fast talk for his new TV show.
“May ownership ako du’n. I own the copyright of ‘Fast Talk.’ I invented that. I created that,” Abunda said regarding the term.
On January 23, Boy Abunda, hailed as the King of Talk will have his new GMA show Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.
Boy emphasized, “At agad nagpasintabi rin tayo para hindi nasu-surprise ang mga kinauukulan. Yes, I own the copyright of ‘Fast Talk.’ So gagamitin natin ang isang elemento na akin. Ibibigay ko yun, di ba?”
Abunda told a story during his press conference on January 14 on how he and his team coined the new program.
“To be able to communicate with the millennials. Gagawin natin yun. Pangalawa, we have to step up. We have to be able to present, how are we gonna do Fast Talk? Siguro dun sa mga katanungan.
“Kasi ang Fast Talk naman, it’s specific and it’s personal to the guest. So ang Fast Talk is fun because hindi masyadong nakahulma.”
Along with Fast Talk, the veteran host also promised that he would do ‘Mahiwagang Salamin’ anew.
He said intriguingly, “Pero ayon ang nakaka-excite. Ano kayang itsura ngayon ng Mahiwagang Salamin? Abangan.”
Abunda will also bring Mahiwagang Salamin to communicate with his guests as he started to use it on StarTalk back then.
