Kapamilya action-drama teleserye FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ) didn’t let Maria Clara (MCAI) at Ibarra’s stay on top in its finale week.
According to the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey, FPJBQ spoiled MCAI‘s winning track in its finale week.
On Monday, February 20, MCAI reclaimed the top spot in the leaderboard’s entertainment category with a rating of 12.3 percent, 0.3 percent higher than FPJBQ.
On the next day, Tuesday, February 21, the Kapuso portal-fantasy series continued its winning streak as it registered a rating of 12.0 percent vs. rival FPJBQ’s 11.6 percent rating.
However, on Wednesday, February 22, the Kapamilya action-drama teleserye snatched the top spot back from MCAI after scoring 12.5 percent TV ratings, 0.7 percent higher than MCAI‘s 11.8 percent rating.
Before FPJBQ‘s TV premiere, MCAI used to lord the rating chart from its pilot in October 2022, where it registered a rating of 15.1 percent.
But with the entry of the Coco Martin-led teleserye in the primetime line-up, MCAI’s reign was spoiled, especially during its last few weeks on the air.
MCAI concluded its story on Friday, February 24.
