It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda is still a certified Kapamilya after he signed an exclusive contract with the Network.
On February 15, the TV host strengthened his loyalty to ABS-CBN as he sealed it during the contract signing event dubbed as The Unkabogable Day.
Present during the event were ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, COO for broadcast Cory Vidanes, Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi, and other Network executives.
Vice Ganda said that he is happy to be with ABS-CBN and simply wants to celebrate the moment.
“Masaya. I am just celebrating. I am just embracing the moment and celebrating… I just want to have fun tonight.
“Ang daming mabibigat. Ang daming chaka. Ang daming madilim. Pero mas madami ‘yung winnings,” he said.
After signing the contract, the phenomenal box-office superstar shared a heartfelt message for ABS-CBN, thanking the network for giving him many opportunities.
“Ang sarap pagdaanan nung mga napagdaanan ko dito sa bahay ko. Masarap siya. Nakakatao. Nakakabuo. Nakakahina. Nakakalakas. Nakakatalino. Nakakaganda.
“Sobrang daming nangyari sa aking paglalakbay sa industriya dito sa ABS-CBN. Ang swerte-swerte ko lang na 2023 na nandidito pa rin ako at nakapostura at pumipirma ng kontrata,” he said.
He then turned emotional as he talked about the journey that his noontime show It’s Showtime has gone through.
“Ang hirap nung 14 years na ‘yun. Sobrang hirap. Pero gusto ko ‘yun. Ipinagpapasalamat ko ‘yung hirap na ‘yun. Ang laki nung iginanda ko sa hirap na ‘yun. Ang laki ng iginanda ko. Ang laki ng iginanda ng pamilya ko. Ang laki ng iginanda ng mga malalapit sa ‘kin,” Vice shared.
Recently, Vice Ganda bagged the Most Outstanding Twitter Influencer, Most Outstanding Social Media Personality, Most Influential Multimedia Filipino Celebrity, and Most Outstanding Entertainment Show Host in the 5th Gawad Lasallianeta.
He also won the Best Variety Show Host award in the 2023 Platinum Stallion National Media Awards of the Trinity University of Asia.
Aside from It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda also hosts the musical game show Everybody, Sing! which streams on the Kapamilya Channel.
