Kapuso star Alden Richards revealed why he was not seen in the noontime show Eat Bulaga! for over a year.
Richards returned to Eat Bulaga! on March 11 as he joined the Juan for All, All For Juan segment again. He was away for about a year before he returned.
In a report by GMA News on March 23, Richards revealed that he [simply] focused on his pending projects
“Last year medyo nag-pile up ‘yung projects na kailangan kong gawin. Nagtayo rin ako ng sariling production company, sinolidify ko muna ‘yung foundation no’n.”
The actor recently created his own multimedia company, Myriad.
Before he fully returned to the show, Richards explained that he opted to manage his business first.
“Ayoko kasi na bumalik sa Eat Bulaga na paisa-isa lang, gusto ko ‘pag bumalik ako, committed ako, kahit hindi man everyday basta at least hindi ako mawawala for the week.
“Inayos ko muna lahat ‘yun, para pagbalik ko dito at least buo ako na haharap sa dabarkads and to be a host of the show,” he said.
Meanwhile, rumors spread that Eat Bulaga!‘s trio Tito, Vic, and Joey (TVJ) will leave the noontime show. Richards then said that he would decline the new management’s offer if in case TVJ opt to leave the show.
