Motivational speaker and social media personality Rendon Labador’s first bar closed.
On March 27, Episode Bar + Kitchen’s Facebook page announced that they would be temporarily closed.
“ANNOUNCEMENT! Effective today, March 27, 2023. We are temporarily closed. We will reopen soon. Thank you!” they captioned.
Labador posted, “Uulitin ko nalang ang grand opening. Sana masaya lahat ng Coco fans sa nangyari. I will struggle. I will fall down. But I will always rise back up. AND I’LL BE STRONGER THAN BEFORE. #stayMotivated.”
According to him, the grand opening will happen again.
On March 3, Labador expressed his concerns regarding Coco Martin. He challenged Martin to stop disrupting Quiapo vendors by ending his TV series, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’.
On March 25, Labador blamed Coco Martin’s fans for why his bar opening flopped.
He ranted, “Aanhin ko ang TRENDING sa buong Pilipinas kung wala namang bumibili ng tickets. Pinersonal na ako ng Coco fans. Una: Masyadong madamdamin ang mga fans ni Coco pinersonal ako. Pangalawa: Baka lahat ng fans ni Coco ay palamunin lang, kaya kahit P2,000 ticket ay hindi ma afford.”
He concluded, “Ibig sabihin lahat ng mga fans ni Coco ay walang mga pera. Sabagay magkakaibang market naman talaga.”
“LUGI ANG EVENT, LUGI ANG INVESTMENT KO sa grand opening concert ng Episode Bar + Kitchen. Pero kahit na ganon ang nangyari, sa positive side parin tayo tumingin at kunin ang mga lessons for us to be better,” he shared in another post.
