On March 29, actor Carlo Aquino detailed how he remained a responsible father to his daughter Enola Mithi.
At the media conference for ‘Love You Long Time,’ which LionhearTV covered, Aquino pointed out that he remained present in his daughter’s life.
He said, “As much as possible, siyempre, present ka. Siyempre ‘yun nga, pinupuntahan mo ‘yung–si Mithi, pinupuntahan ko si Mithi kapag walang trabaho. Napupuntahan ko na siya sa school ganon.”
Aquino then discussed how he handles co-parenting with his former partner.
Aquino shared, “On speaking terms, pinag-uusapan namin kung ano ‘yung makakabuti kay Mithi. Siyempre nagtra-trabaho ako, ginagawa namin lahat ‘yun para sa– siyempre para sa kaniya.”
He also noted how he handles criticism, especially when he opens up about his relationship status with Charlie Dizon.
“Hindi naman siya sinasadya, no worry lang, parang ‘yung okay naman kung may pumalag or may magalit, anong gagawin ko di ba? Opinyon nila ‘yun eh.”
Rumors about his dating status with Dizon circulated after netizens spotted the two getting cozy.
However, Aquino publicly revealed his relationship with Dizon in January 2023.
Following his revelation, Trina Candaza, Aquino’s ex-partner, posted on Facebook, claiming that her ex-boyfriend had a ‘single, ready to mingle’ post even though they were still together.
As for his film, Aquino stars in the Studio Three Sixty PH film Love You Long Time with Eisel Serrano.
Under the direction of JP Habac, ‘Love You Long Time’ opens in cinemas on April 8 at the Metro Manila Summer Film Festival.
