Kapamilya young star Kyle Echarri took to social media to address netizens questioning his presence during Johnny Manahan’s birthday party with OG Star Magic artists.
On Wednesday, March 29, Kapuso star Heart Evangelista posted a group photo along with Mr. M., Mariole Alberto, and Star Magic originals Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual, Diether Ocampo, John Lloyd Cruz, Maja Salvador, and Bea Alonzo.
It was a mini-reunion of the former Star Magic stars and a belated birthday celebration of their “tatay-tatayan” Mr. M, who celebrated his birthday in February.
Meanwhile, noticeably included in the photo is Kapamilya young star Kyle Echarri, prompting some netizens to ask what was he doing there with Star Magic’s biggest stars.
In response, the young Kapamilya star tweeted on Thursday, March 30, pointing out that he’s not obliged to explain everything to people, especially if it has nothing to do with them.

Echarri began his career as a contestant in the Kapamilya singing competition for kids, The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2, in 2015.
After The Voice Kids, he made his acting debut in the phenomenal Kapamilya primetime teleserye On The Wing of Love as the half-brother of Nadine Lustre’s character [also in 2015]. But his biggest break came with another phenomenal Kapamilya afternoon teleserye, Kadenang Ginto, with the Gold Squad—Francine Diaz, Andrea Brillantes, and Seth Fedelin.
Recently, Echarri starred in the ABS-CBN action-thriller series The Iron Heart, playing the young character of Richard Gutierrez named Apollo Adelantar.
