On April 5, Kapuso star Miguel Tanfelix revealed the reason behind the three-year taping process of their upcoming Sci-Fi series, Voltes V: Legacy.
At the Voltes V: Legacy Pocket Interview, which LionhearTV covered, Tanfelix cited how the production focused on the graphics for the Sci-Fi series.
“Para po sa akin, kaya po siya tumagal ng ganito unang-una siyempre dahil sa effects. Hindi po biro kasi ‘yung graphics ng Voltes V: Legacy, makikita ninyo naman ‘yung kapag napanood ninyo sa sinehan and sa TV.”
He also attested to the quality of the entire production for Voltes V: Legacy.
“As in ako, sa 20 years ko nasa showbiz, ngayon lang po ako nakakita na gawa ng Pinoy na ganito kaganda.”
Additionally, Tanfelix noted they had scheduling conflicts during the production due to the pandemic.
“Pangalawa is ‘yung schedule. Ginawa po namin ‘to, nag-start po kami noong pandemic, so ang daming restrictions, like si Raphael hindi po siya pinapayagan mag-taping noong una so inayos pa po namin ‘yun ng mahabang panahon, tapos hanggang sa nagkakaroon na ng shows ‘yung iba’t ibang artista, so hindi po namin mapagtugma, kaya ang sakit ng ulo ni Miss Darling. Kaya po kami tumagal.”
As for their series, Voltes V: Legacy stars Tanfelix, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, Raphael Landicho, and Ysabel Ortega.
The sci-fi series features Martin del Rosario, Liezel Lopez, Epi Quizon, Carlo Gonzales, Gabby Eigenmann, Neil Ryan Sese, Albert Martinez, Christian Vasquez, Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo, and many more.
The Kapuso sci-fi adaptation, in partnership with Toei Company, Ltd and Telesuccess Productions Inc and under the direction of Mark Reyes, will be airing soon on GMA Network.
Aside from that, they also have an upcoming cinema sneak-peak event (Voltes V Legacy: The Cinematic Experience) showing the version of the first three weeks of the series before its much-awaited premiere on primetime TV in May, from April 19 to 25, in SM Cinemas Nationwide.
