In a touching moment on the popular noontime variety show, It’s Showtime, child star Argus delivered a heartfelt message to his father Michael, who is leaving the country for overseas work.
During the Isip Bata segment on May 26, Argus shared with Vice Ganda that his father’s departure was scheduled for May 27, touching the audience’s hearts.
When Vice asked Argus what he wanted to say to his father before he leaves, the young performer expressed his deep love and concern, requesting his dad not to leave the country.

Vice Ganda then asked Argus what they would be doing later before his dad leaves–he replied that he doesn’t want his dad to leave just yet as he can work for them.
“Wag muna po syang umalis kasi po nagtratrabaho na po ako rito,” Argus said.
Vice Ganda further engaged with Argus, explaining that it is not his responsibility, as a child, to provide for his family. The comedian assured him his father would not allow him to shoulder such a burden.
