Coco Martin and Julia Montes have now admitted to being together for over 12 years.
The two have been rumored to be a couple for quite some time now but neither confirmed anything until now.
It was even rumored that Montes already had her second child with Martin.
In ABS-CBN’s report on May 23, Martin and Montes were spotted at the watch party of the upcoming series na ‘Unbreak My Heart’ starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, Joshua Garcia, and Gabbi Garcia.
When asked why they were together, Martin answered that it was their love for Jodi.
“Para sa pagmamahal namin kay Jodi,” he said.
When asked about his love for his date, Martin said “Alam na niya yun.”
Martin then explained that he and Montes are no longer kids and enjoy their private lives together. Martin expressed, “Basta kami naman, hindi naman kami mga bata. Kung ano siguro ‘yung nakikita, iniisip ng ibang tao, ‘yun na ‘yun. Mas masarap kasi ‘yung pribado ‘yung buhay eh, tahimik, walang mga issue. Eto masaya kami.”
The FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ star then shared that he treasures being with Montes for more than 12 years already.
“Napakasarap ng pakiramdam namin kasi eto, 12 years na kaming magkasama. Pero pareho pa rin gaya nung dati. Nilo-look forward namin kung may project kame na magkasama, ‘pag may pagkakataon eto nakakalabas kami, nakikita kami ng mga tao. Pero nama-maintain namin ‘yung privacy sa buhay namin,” he said.
On the other hand, Montes said that God was the reason for their happy relationship.
Martin admitted that they have been together for 12 years now, which means that they started celebrating their anniversary as a couple in 2011. Martin was 29 at the time and Montes was 16.
