The GMA Network is seeking original content and production partnerships to boost revenue.
In a Bilyonaryo report on May 17, GMA Network chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon said the partnership will grow revenue streams.
Gozon said that the GMA Network’s revenue dipped due to unpredictable global problems like the Russia-Ukraine war, rising fuel prices, higher inflation, and increased underemployment and unemployment.
Network net income suffered a 27.7% dip in the first quarter of the year. As a result, revenues decreased by 3.9% to a total of billion.
The network is now seeking more content and production partnerships to improve its revenue.
Meanwhile, GMA Network’s known partnership deals are with TFC/iWantTV for Europe and the Middle East. In addition, it collaborates with TAPE, Regal, VIVA, and ABS-CBN.
The recent TV collaboration with ABS-CBN produced the upcoming series Unbreak My Heart.
The series is directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo and Dolly Dulu and stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Gabbi Garcia, Richard Yap, and Joshua Garcia.
