On May 11th, Apple Castro described how her career transitioned from performing in auto shows to being a Viva artist.
Castro mentioned that she was spotted while participating in auto shows in Manila at the press presentation for his new Vivamax movie, Kabayo, which LionhearTV covered.
Castro revealed, “Noong nasa Manila ako, I’m into carshows po. Actually nag-aaral po ako noon, pero pag bakasyon nagka-car show po ako sa Manila. So doon po ako na-discover ni Tito Lito, si Lito De Guzman po ‘yun pong manager namin.”
She then listed the projects she had lined up with Viva including ‘Pamasahe’ under film director Roman Perez Jr.; ‘Kabayo’, ‘Hugot’, and ‘How To’ by film director GB Sampredo.
To date, she is working on TV 5’s ‘Team A’ which also stars Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina.
Castro also detailed how her character fits into the plot of ‘Kabayo’.
She narrated, “Sa Kabayo po ako po si Amy, isa po akong client dito ni Rico, na ang name po niya sa Kabayo ay Conrad and then para pong pag-aagawan po ako ni Rico and ni Max, kuya po ni Julia dito. Pag-aagawan nila ako dahil big client po ako.”
She added, “Tapos po ‘yung role ko po dito, ‘yun po ‘yung magiging dahilan para mas lalong tatatag po ‘yung relationship ni Rico, which is Conrad, and si Julia naman po.”
As for her upcoming film, ‘Kabayo’ stars Julia Victoria with former Pinoy Big Brother Housemate Rico Barrera.
The cast features Castro, Mara Flores, Angelo Ilagan, and Ping Medina.
