On May 26, GMA Network actress Beauty Gonzalez described actor-senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. as ‘”Boy Next Door.”
At the media conference for ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis,’ which LionhearTV covered, Gonzalez admitted that she was worried about interacting with the actor-senator in their Kapuso comedy series.
The actress revealed, “Sa totoo lang, noong nalaman ko na ako na ‘yung napili dito, siyempre kilig and happy ako. But at the same time, I was thinking, paano ako makipag-interact sa kaniya kasi we all know he’s a Philippine icon, he’s an action star, he’s also a senator, and dito serye na ‘to, matapang ako na asawa. So ang iniisip ko paano ako makipag-interact sa kaniya.”
She cited how her perception of Revilla changed while working with him on the Kapuso series set.
Gonzalez continued, “And then noong first day ng taping namin, I realized, the more na nakilala ko si Senator Bong, just they way I interact with him is just be a normal person, treat him as a normal person kasi napakabait talaga niya, napaka-giving, very Boy Next Door. Kaya hindi ako magtataka kung bakit matinik.”
Revilla’s openness to everyone’s suggestions on how to improve the show on the set makes the actress very thankful and happy.
As for Revilla, he highlighted how Gonzalez fits her role as Gloria in the TV adaptation of his two previous films.
As for their upcoming Kapuso comedy series, ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis’ stars Revilla, Gonzalez, Max Collins, Kate Valdez, Raphael Landicho, Kelvin Miranda, and Carmi Martin.
