May 25, Manila, Philippines – The highly anticipated collaboration project between ABS-CBN Entertainment and GMA Network, ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ has been making waves in the Philippine television industry.
One of the main leads of the series, Gabbi Garcia, recently shared her experiences working with Joshua Garcia, one of the prime actors of this generation.
During the grand press conference held in Manila on May 25, Gabbi Garcia expressed her gratitude for being part of a groundbreaking project that marks the first-ever major collaboration between the two networks.
In ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ Gabbi portrays the character of Alex, a woman who finds herself entangled in a love triangle with Renz (played by Joshua Garcia) and Jodi Sta. Maria.
Gabbi, a Kapuso actress, revealed that shooting the series in Switzerland earlier this year has been a valuable learning experience for her, both in front of and behind the camera. She expressed her admiration for her co-stars Joshua and Jodi whom she described as brilliant actors.
“I’m very, very honored to work with two brilliant actors. I’ve learned a lot. Every day is a new learning day for me. Every taping day is a new learning day for me,” Gabbi shared.
Gabbi also praised the generosity of Joshua and Jodi as actors, emphasizing that she never felt intimidated working with them. Initially nervous about collaborating with Jodi, an award-winning actress whom she has not met before, Gabbi was pleasantly surprised by their strong connection on set.
“God is just so good that He’s leading me to the right people to work with, and ate Jodi is one of them. So I’m just really so honored to work like that,” Gabbi expressed with gratitude.
It turns out that Gabbi and Joshua were already acquainted before the project, having crossed paths at various gatherings with mutual friends. This pre-existing connection made them comfortable with each other even before they started working together. However, it was during the production of ‘Unbreak My Heart’ that they truly got to know each other.
Gabbi praised Joshua’s acting prowess, stating, “We all know how talented Joshua Garcia is. He doesn’t need to prove himself anymore. He’s a great actor. I learned a lot from Joshua every single day, and I thank him for that.”
In addition to his talent, Gabbi appreciated Joshua’s considerate and polite nature on set. She described him as respectful and attentive, always ensuring the comfort of their co-stars throughout the filming process.
When asked about their most memorable scene together in ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ Gabbi playfully teased the audience, urging them to anticipate the kitchen scene, which actually went viral online.

The series was shot in captivating locations such as Switzerland, Italy, and the Philippines.
