On June 21, actress Julia Barretto thanked moviegoers and celebrities who attended the premiere of her romantic film ‘Will You Be My Ex?’
During the cinema event, Barreto appreciated the attendees who supported her film with Diego Loyzaga.
“From the three of us, thank you so much for spending your evening with us. Sobrang saya talaga namin ‘to ginawa, and I hope it really translates into what you’re about to see.”
The celebrities and personalities present at the movie premiere of ‘Will You Be My Ex’ were Marjorie Barretto, Leon Barretto, Ice Seguerra, Liza Diño, Sean De Guzman, Marco Gallo, and Denise Esteban.
Barretto then highlighted how supportive her mom Marjorie Barretto is of her career as an actress.
“No-fail, my mom is always present, always supportive. And she has to be present all the time. Kailangan ko siya para pampawala ng niyerbyos.”
When asked about having any plans of marrying her beau, Gerald Anderson, Barretto responded, “In God’s perfect timing.”
As for the director, Real Florido highlighted the significance of urging Pinoy movie patrons to return to the cinema.
“‘Yun naman ‘yung importante, para pumunta kayo ng sinehan. Lalo ngayon sa panahon ng streaming di ba? Ang dali ng manood sa mga cellphone or kung ano mang devices, pero dito, pupunta talaga kayo sa sinehan para mapanood ninyo si Diego Loyzaga at Julia Barretto, sa malaking screen. At pasukin ninyo ‘yung buhay nila, at ‘yung love story nila sa pelikulang ito.”
‘Will You Be My Ex?’ stars Julia Barretto, Diego Loyzaga, and Bea Binene. The romantic film also features Phoemela Baranda, Mickey Ferriols, Divine Aucina, and Debbie Garcia. The Viva Films production, directed by Real Florido, is showing in cinemas nationwide.
