Filipino TV host and comedian Paolo Contis has a message for netizens who persistently report the new Facebook page of the revamped ‘Eat Bulaga!,’ stating that they will not cease until their own Facebook page is created.
On June 20, at the conclusion of the day’s show, Contis shared his sentiments regarding netizens who remain unsupportive of the new ‘Eat Bulaga!’ which airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Saturdays.
Contis addressed those who continue to report the show’s new page, asserting that they will not stop until a new page is established.
“Hindi po kami hihinto sa pag-try na magkaroon ng Facebook page na ‘yan!” Contis proclaimed.
Furthermore, he emphasized that as they persist mass reporting the page, the show will continue posting until these trolls grow weary.
“Report lang kayo nang report, post lang kami nang post! Hanggang sa mapagod kayong mag-report,” Contis added.
The disappointment and anger toward the management of TAPE Inc. expressed by loyal viewers known as ‘Solid Dabarkads’ have been ongoing since the departure of the hosts TVJ and the Dabarkads. The management of TAPE Inc. has faced numerous challenges since then.
Recently, the show’s Facebook page, ‘Eat Bulaga Na,’ which was created on June 11 was reportedly turned down by Facebook due to alleged violations, suspected to be a result of mass reporting by critics. The show’s newly established YouTube channel has also been terminated for impersonation policies.
Despite the setbacks and backlash, the new hosts of ‘Eat Bulaga!,’ along with the management of TAPE Inc. and GMA, have remained resilient in their efforts to provide a captivating and entertaining show for their viewers.
With ‘It’s Showtime’ finding a new home on the first day of July, the new show of the TVJ will begin airing on the same date.
In a surprising twist, ‘It’s Showtime’ will soon be seen on GMA’s GTV, demonstrating the strength of the relationship between the networks despite years of competition. As the two shows navigate their respective challenges, it remains to be seen how this shift will impact the dynamics between the networks and their loyal audiences.
Nevertheless, as the controversy surrounding ‘Eat Bulaga!’ and its new hosts continues to simmer, it is clear that emotions are running high among netizens. Meanwhile, people behind the new ‘Eat Bulaga!’ the upcoming TVJ show on TV5, and ‘It’s Showtime’ are all determined to forge ahead, delivering quality entertainment to their respective viewers.
