On June 30, Kokoy De Santos, Chariz Solomon, Michael V, and Paolo Contis pondered on the possible return of ‘Bubble Gang’ cast members who ‘graduated’ from the show.

At the media event for the new time slot of ‘Bubble Gang,’ De Santos admitted that he misses Sef Cadayona.

Michael V explained how the former cast members understood how their tenure in the Kapuso comedy gag show worked.

“I think it has a lot to do with the network. We have to trust the network doon sa ginagawa nila. They know their jobs. Trust me on this one. Hindi naman basta-basta lang on a whim na ‘tanggalin natin si ganyan, tanggalin natin si ganito.’ Nagkakaroon ng studies, and this time around it so happened na the studies pointed out to some of these people na previous cast natin na i-let go sa show.”

He then maintained that there would be a chance for the former cast members to return.

“Pero as I’ve always said, itong naging mga part ng show na ‘to, na naging talent ng Bubble Gang, alam nila what it takes to be part of the show, they can always find their way back to us.”

As for Solomon, she admitted feeling emotional when Valeen Montenegro departed from the show.

She also noted how Montenegro is flourishing with her digital media career.

Na we will stick together, we could be partners pa din.

As for Contis, he pointed out how the former cast members of ‘Bubble Gang’ would often return as regular guests of the show.

“So I think right now, ang main goal, feeling ko ang main goal ng network is parang mas marami kaming ma-guest.

‘Bubble Gang’ features Michael V, Contis, Solomon, De Santos, Edgar Allan Gusman, Buboy Villar, Ana Barro, Chesca Fausto, Mika Salamanca, Jelai Andres, and Kokoy De Santos.

After 27 years, the longest-running comedy-gag show moves to Sundays every 6 p.m. starting July 9.
