On July 26, director Darryl Yap reacted to Elizabeth Oropesa’s recent Facebook post airing her grievances towards President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.

Oropesa wrote an open letter to PBBM, expressing her disappointment towards other Marcos Loyalists that ‘bashed’ her on social media.

Earlier, Oropesa posted a video detailing her concern regarding the lack of focus from the President toward those who supported him with his campaign in 2022.

Oropesa then expressed how ‘fed up’ she is from the bashing she received.

Finally, Oropesa finalized her post, seemingly denouncing her support for PBBM.

“Gumagalang parin, Hindi na Marcos Loyalist, Elizabeth Oropesa.”

The director then reposted the Oropesa’s open letter, with the comment, “kapal ng mukha ng mga kakamkam. mga yuck.”

Oropesa seemed to finally let go of being a ‘Marcos Loyalist’ after being one of the artists at the forefront of campaigning for PBBM’s candidacy in 2022.

Oropesa was part of the film directed by Yap titled ‘Maid in Malacañang,’ depicting the last three days of the Marcos family in the Malacañang Palace.
