ABS-CBN’s hit action series “The Iron Heart” is set to heat up even more and bring more world-class action scenes as more stars join Richard Gutierrez in the second season of the popular program that has generated more than 300 million views on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and Twitter for its heart-stopping action scenes and gripping plot.
New cast members JM de Guzman, Carmen Soo, Fabio Ide, Richard Quan, Ruby Ruiz, Igi Boy Flores, Anna Luna, Ruben Soriquez, Krystal Brimner, Cris Villanueva, and Alex Medina will make the story more exciting, compelling, and complex as it delves into the character of Apollo.
“Medyo lumalalim yung kwento ng ‘Iron Heart.’ From the very beginning, ‘Iron Heart’ has always been about right or wrong, doing right or wrong for Apollo and the other characters. Now it has been more complex because right and wrong is not simple as what Apollo’s character thought it was,” said Jay.
JM shared how he and his fellow new cast members adjusted quickly to their characters in the series.
“Sobrang grateful po ako to be part of the ‘Iron Heart.’ Noong nagka-eksena na po kami, sobrang generous nila ni Jake at Richard. Sobrang welcoming nila sa set,” sabi niya.
In the story, Apollo would be more intrigued by this new syndicate called Altare, which has not only claimed the life of his friend Juno (Meryll Soriano) but also created havoc in his community.
As he embarks on an upcoming mission, Apollo may find an ally in Harmonia (Carmen Soo), who plans to recruit him to destroy the syndicate. Meanwhile, it is still a mystery if Menandro (Ian Veneracion) is an ally or an enemy, as Harmonia thinks he has a connection with Altare. Even Selene (Dimples Romana), Orcus (Christian Vasquez), and their new member Darron (Fabio) are not spared by Altare’s reach, as Atlas (Richard), one of the Altare members, forcefully tries to recruit them.
On the other hand, Apollo’s uncle, Hector (Roi Vinzon), joins a mysterious religious organization called Yusebeia led by Brother Orion (JM) and his church members Cora (Ruby Ruiz), Koa (Alex Medina), and (Anna Luna).

Aside from the new characters, Star Creatives released a snippet of the latest version of its series’ theme song, “Sino Ka Ba,” performed by SB19 members Josh Cullen and Pablo.
